MAC’s Big Green Weekender

Come along to the MAC’s Big Green Weekender, we’ll be there along with a range of organisations showcasing environmental work across the city. We will be available to talk to about small, achievable steps you can take to live more sustainably that align with your values and lifestyle and offering FREE energy advice for visitors. Drop in Stories 4 Nature activities for families and giving out our walking and cycling maps.

Saturday 19th September

Location: Midlands Arts Centre, Cannon Hill Park, B12 9QH

Time: 11am – 4pm | come and find the ecobirmingham stand in the Terrace Gallery or Foyer

  • FREE Energy Advice – Drop in  

Speak to our advisors for energy advice and support. Find out how you can make better choices when using energy at home, save money and make your home more comfortable and energy efficient while reducing your impact on the planet.

When: 19 September: 11am – 4pm

  • Stories 4 Nature Drop in

Inspiring storytelling and eco-crafts for pre-school children aged 1-5 and their grown ups.

When: 19 September: 12pm – 3pm 

Location: Outside – please dress for the weather

 

Together we can make better choices to make Birmingham a greener, healthier and happier place to live. 

Come along with friends and family and meet friendly local organisations, join inspiring talks, see live demonstrations and much more. There will be a host of great things going on throughout the weekend including BCMG: Cycle the Score, a guided bicycle concert and clothes swap shop with Moseley Hive.
