Pop up cycling Event

Saturday 30th October, 9.30am – 2pm

Discover the possibilities of traveling by bike, have fun and learn new skills.

Join us for a fantastic day of all things cycling – from general bike chat, maintenance and confidence building, to exploring local bike friendly routes, and a led ride followed by more bike chat over coffee and cake. 

This is a great opportunity to meet new people and build your confidence, while riding as a group and get tips/advice from other riders.

What to expect:

  • 9.30-2pm – Dr Bike – Free bike check & simple repairs

 

  • 10am – 11.30am – Basic bike maintenance workshop Learn how to do simple repairs on your bike (tools and materials provided)

 

  • 11.30am – LED RIDE* – Improve confidence riding as a group & discover new cycle routes

 

  • 12.30pm – Bike ‘Show and Tell’ and a brew – We want to see your pride and joy and hear about your everyday adventures. 

 

  • 1-2pm – Route finding workshop / Tips & Advice
