Led Ride – Sutton Park

Saturday 27th November – 1pm 

You are invited to join us for a led ride to Sutton Park,

Meet at Four Oaks Baptist Church, Grange Lane. Four Oaks. B75 5JX


Leaving promptly at 1pm. The ride will be approx 12 miles round trip, exploring local bike friendly routes and green spaces. Using a mixture of local quiet roads taking us to Sutton Park where we’ll join shared cycle paths for a lovely loop and some fantastic scenery. If we are lucky we might see the wild ponies.

The route highlights local facilities, attractions, fantastic green spaces and all important cake stops which are all easily accessible by bike.

Led by qualified ride leaders, starting and finishing at Four Oaks Baptist Church. Half way round there will be an opportunity for a toilet and refreshment stop, bring your own snacks/lunch or some money to buy something at the cafe.

This ride is suitable for all the family. Standard two wheel bikes, e-bikes, trailers and non standard bikes are welcome. We want this ride to be as accessible as possible, if you have a non standard bike, trike or similar please let us know so we can adjust the route if needed.

Recommended for ages 8 years plus or those able to cope with the 12miles and cycling on the road.

As on all our group rides, the pace will be gentle, nobody will get left behind.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, you will need to have your own bike and helmet to take part in the ride. Bike hire is available from West Midlands Cycle Hire or a Brompton Bike Hire dock in Birmingham City Centre.


Dr Bike will be available from 12pm, this is a FREE Bike check to make sure your bike is in good working order and safe to ride. This also includes minor tyre, gear and brake repairs from an experienced mechanic. Please allow plenty of time to see Dr Bike before joining the ride’

This session is part of our free pop-up cycling event, join us for a fantastic day of all things cycling – from general bike chat, route finding, bike maintenance and confidence building to led rides exploring local bike friendly routes.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, build your confidence while riding as a group and get tips/advice from other riders.

  • 1pm – LED RIDE* to Sutton Park – Approx 12miles – refreshment/pit stop half way. Gain confidence riding as a group and learn new bike friendly routes – Book HERE.
  • 12-2pm – Dr Bike – Free drop-in bike check & simple repairs
