Time: 10am – 11am and 11am – 12pm
FREE – No booking required – Spaces limited, first come first served – arrive early
Women only Learn to Ride Lesson, Building Cycling Skills and Confidence.
- Taught by qualified female instructors
- Bike and helmets will be available to borrow, however, these are limited and first come first served.
- The lesson is 1hr long, starting promptly at 10am and 11am, arrive early for registration
Complete beginners, who want to learn to pedal.
What to expect:
Our aim is to get participants pedaling without assistance, learning to ride a bike and experiencing the fun and freedom of moving on two wheels.
In these sessions we will teach the following:
- Understanding safety equipment and clothing including helmet
- How to carry out a simple bike check
- Get on and off the bike without help
- Pedal without help and stop without help
If you can already pedal but feel a little nervous or wobbly on a bike.
What to expect:
- Learn key skills like steering, controlling the bike while signalling and braking
- Perfect for people who have just started to ride or returning to cycling after a long time
