Stories for Nature continues!

Due to the success of our interactive storytelling sessions, Stories for Nature, we’re excited to announce that the project will continue as free, volunteer-led events!

This is thanks to the amazing parents and carers who took part throughout the magical 30-session programme, which combined inspiring storytelling with exciting eco-crafts. It’s wonderful to see the creativity continue.

Sessions will still to be held every Thursday, 10-11am, at ecobirmingham’s centre. Children can explore the garden and its different habitats, as well as get creative with nature throughout the seasons.

If you or someone you know would like to get involved, simply come along to a session. Suitable for ages 1-5 and their grown ups.

Before we’d get outside to breath the air but now we’re more open to what’s around us, what’s on the floor or in the trees. It’s been brilliant, we’ve really enjoyed it.

– Debbie, Parent

It’s been an absolute highlight of our week. We’ve loved coming here on a Thursday, it’s just a really nice routine of ours.

– Hannah, Parent

The crafts really bring the stories to life. It’s not just a stick or a leaf, but creates a whole magical experience for the child.

– Hero, Parent

It’s that one to one that I’ve got with them, creating memories with them, that’s the massive thing to me.
