Do you want to help protect our future and improve lives in our city? Giving Tuesday is for you.
Join us on Tuesday 2nd December and celebrate #GivingTuesday, a global generosity campaign that encourages everyone to do something good. Giving Tuesday is a day driven by acts of kindness and generosity; it demonstrates the power of people and organisations to transform their communities and the planet.

Every donation we receive makes a huge difference:
£10 will help: fund a local child to attend a creative learning workshop to improve their knowledge, skills and confidence in nature and receive a healthy campfire meal. Enabling us to provide outdoor education opportunities for children
£25 will help: fund tailored energy advice for vulnerable people living in cold homes and provide Winter Warmer resource packs through our Energy Projects
£50 will help: us provide a cycling tuition programme, make sustainable transport more accessible and enable people to get outside more often, Walking, Wheeling and Cycling
Giving Tuesday is a day driven by acts of kindness, it demonstrates the power of people and organisations to transform their communities and the world.
Originating in the US in response to the commercialism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is now celebrated worldwide and has enormous positive impact for the charities who partake.
Every act of kindness, big or small, has an impact!

1. Clean up your community. Whether you are joining a local group of volunteers or going out alone, a litter pick is a great way to improve your local area for both people and wildlife. Check out our Highbury Park Litter Picking Trail for inspiration or join a local group like goodgym.
2. Help nature to thrive by making small changes to your outdoor space such as adding bee loving plants, a bird feeder or planting a tree. This can make a big difference to nature. If you would like to learn more or help out in your local park/green space check out the Birmingham Friends of groups and Fruit and Nut Village.
3. Connect with a neighbour, knocking on a neighbours door, having a cuppa or running an errand for them can go a long way or get outside together and explore a local green space, walking and talking is a great way to connect, improve your health and wellbeing and beat the winter blues.
4. Give with people and planet in mind by shopping local or second hand and choosing experiences, cooking a meal or baking a treat for family or friends helps to reduce waste. Being Kind to people and the planet. We have some great charity shops in Brum, a visit to Harborne high-street and reloved brum is a must, local creatives like ecorra and shops like Clean Kilo are also good options. Find more over at Sustainabrum.
5. Donate your time or money to a charity or local group whose cause you support. Together we can create the community we want to see. Donations from people like you are essential to ensure we can continue our important work across the city. As your act of kindness why not host a host a fundraising event to help your local community or find local volunteering opportunities.
