WILD BUNCH – Family forest school

ecobirmingham’s popular forest school adventures throughout the seasons!

As part of Building Greener Communities and working in partnership with The Springfield Project, ecobirmingham are running weekly family forest school sessions at the Project’s Knowle Road Allotment site in Sparkhill.

These sessions are perfect for home-educating families with children aged 4-12, for both children and adult to connect to the natural world and create memorable moments. The sessions will also take place during school holidays.

Expect the usual, child-led Wild Bunch playful fun, nature connections and creations and, of course, healthy, campfire-cooked snacks for all.

Wild Bunch provides a safe and supportive environment for children, using Forest School principles, to explore the world on their doorstep, while learning new skills.

Each session is delivered by one DBS-checked, experienced Level 3 Forest School Practitioner.

Dates:

Every Thursday (including during school holidays), 11.30am-1.30pm. Booking required here.

Location:

Knowle Road Allotment, Knowle Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham, B11 3AW.

Getting there:

Parking is difficult on Knowle Road, so please use active or public transport if possible, or consider car-sharing.

Price: Finances shouldn’t come in the way to access the natural world. All our tickets are therefore on a pay-as-you-can format.

Please note that you will have to enter a donation amount for each child/each date. Grown-ups go free.

Once on site, parents/carers will be responsible for their children at all time.
