It would be an understatement to say that 2020 has been a difficult year. The team are now mostly back off furlough and raring to go. We have many challenges to rise to over the coming months and years, including how we build back our city and communities post COVID-19. We will need to be bold, sensitive, inclusive and creative in how we support people to live more sustainably, locally and communally in the future. More than ever, we are committed to listening to the needs of people, and responsive to what they need right now in order to build the future they and future generations deserve.
Over the coming months we will be:
- Holding BikeAbility courses and cycle activity for adults as well as children over the age of twelve.
- Delivering fuel poverty work
- Expanding the Refill project, reducing litter and single-use plastic across the city
- Launching the Secret Birmingham mobile app, a digital guided cycling tour of heritage sites across the South of the city
