Energy Advice and Support

Birmingham has over 100,000 households living in fuel poverty. Our energy advisors are working with partners across the city providing advice and support in the community through pop-up energy advice sessions, workshops and home visits as well as online advice and attending community events.

We want to enable people to make simple changes to the way you use energy which can make a big difference to their bills and mental health and wellbeing while helping lower carbon emissions and tackle climate change.

ecobirmingham are proud to be a part of Birmingham Community Action Network’s Energy Redress Scheme. B:CAN’s mission is “to make life better for everyone in Birmingham.” A large part of that is by offering energy advice and giving practical items to householders that will save them money on their bills and help them to feel warmer throughout the winter. We also offer telephone advice sessions and home visits to ensure that each person we talk with is given the best possible solution and given a pathway forward for energy efficiency and understanding in their home.

Partnering with nPower our energy advisers can also provide you with FREE light-touch or in-depth advice. We can help you to:

  • Save money on energy bills
  • Make simple changes for a warmer, more energy efficient home
  • Improve your health and well-being
  • Reduce carbon emissions
